Kim Hilgert
[Nederlandstalige workshop] "Een gelukkige vergadercultuur"

Meetings really don’t have to be boring. Meeting with your colleagues can definitely be useful, productive and pleasant at the same time. This workshop on “happy meetings” presents participants with easy to use tools and plenty of tips to transform your meetings. The result? More efficient, shorter meetings and happy colleagues.

[Atelier francophone] “Le bonheur en télétravail”

Led by Nest Your Desk, this workshop on “happiness when working from home” would like to inspire you with insights and tips to work from home more efficiently and with more happiness and well-being. Being able to work from home usually is an interesting   opportunity that is welcomed by most employees.

However, this can also be the reason why a lot of employees want to protect the relationship they have built with their employer by being extremely reactive to incoming messages and by remaining highly connected with coworkers. But… Did you know that you will only succeed in optimizing your productivity by taking into account your personal well-being, even when working from home? Did you know that managing your well-being is a new skill that needs to be developed in this ‘new way of working’ era?

This workshops allows participants to discover the newest ways to connect with their tasks and the rest of the organisation as well as to better reconnect with themselves in order to find the most motivating and efficient way to work from home. You will receive tons of information and practical tips so you will be able to make a personal action plan that can bring more happiness when working from home.

[English speaking workshop] “How happy employees create happy customers”

One of the many tangible benefits of creating great and happy workplaces is happier employees make happier customers. Sarah Metcalfe, from Happy Coffee Consulting (based in the UK) is hosting this interactive workshop to offer insights, tips and tricks to boost employee ànd customer happiness.

Participants will be taking a deep-dive into the ‘how do I want to be treated as a customer’ mindset and leverage these insights as a key customer strategy in their own organisation. In addition, Sarah offers practical tips on supporting employees working in customer service. Working in this pressured environment and dealing with (dis)satisfied customers, comes with specific challenges.

Finally, you will also discover how to create a stronger foundation for employee happiness in this exact context. Understand how to better support customer service colleagues, work on their well-being, introduce flexibility where possible, and manage resilience to potential stress issues.

Its methodology is based on taking ownership and the power of positive gossip. This way, 1 + 1 equals 3. This team game with inspiring insights and simple challenges, will enhance the team spirit and boost the positive empowerment of the team and its members.

Leo Bormans has over 40 years of experience in leading and supporting all kinds of teams. Based on scientific happiness research, he discovered a mechanism that is automatically being applied in succesful teams, and he has translated these insights in a tool that can be easily applied and leads to fast results.

[Atelier francophone] “Le YMCA du bonheur au travail”

The basis elements that happy organisations have in common can be described by an – easy to remember – acronym: YMCA. You know the why of your company or your team (the Y): why do you do what you do? What is the purpose of your activities?

In addition, you are running these activities with engagement and motivation (M), using  clear communication (C) and using a positive attitude (A).

In this workshop Chief Happiness Griet Deca, is inviting you to further explore these components of happiness at work. At the same giving you some insights into how to implement them in your organisation. Expect to hear about pracitcal techniques that you can apply straigt away.

Even if you’re not part of an organisation or if you don’t have team members to practice with, you needn’t worry. There are definitely ways to personally apply these YMCA techniques.
